The more relevant answer, on the other hand, is that it's a deliberately ridiculous character name that Simon came up with when he was playing board games as a child - so it seemed fitting to adopt the name when he began designing games of his own. The Ridgehead Games logo combines all of these elements: it's designed to resemble the head of a ridgehead fish, the shape is roughly hexagonal (referencing the tiles in Fruit), and if you squint then it also looks a bit like a letter S (referencing Simon). |
