Our philosophy

We want to make games that we enjoy as much as the ones that we love ourselves, so when we design games we use three core principles to guide us:

• Make it simple
• Make it fun
• Make it beautiful

What the heck is a ridgehead?

Well, the scientific answer is that it's the Melamphaidae family of deep-sea fish.

The more relevant answer, on the other hand, is that it's a deliberately ridiculous character name that we came up with when we were playing board games as children - so it seemed fitting to adopt the name when he began designing games of his own.

The Ridgehead Games logo combines all of these elements: it's designed to resemble the head of a ridgehead fish, the shape is roughly hexagonal, and if you squint then it also looks a bit like a letter S (referencing Simon).
